Yanukovych wins 48.95%, Tymoshenko gets 45.47% with 100% of ballots counted

--> With 100% of electronic returns counted, 48.95% of Ukrainians voted for Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych in the second round of the presidential election, while 45.47% backed Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, according to the Central Election Commission.

Yanukovych received support from 12,481,268 voters, while Tymoshenko was backed by 11,593,340 voters.

Some 4.36% voted against both presidential candidates.
