"Last weeks bring good news," Yushchenko said. The rate of the national currency has become stable during 3.5 months. The rate is now formed solely based on market conditions, and hence, there are grounds to speak about not only hryvnia's stabilization, but about its strengthening," the Head of State stressed.
Another problem related to bank liquidity has been solved as well, Yushchenko added.
He noted that there has been a tendency to reduce deposit outflow over four weeks, and the banking system starts to mobilize people's deposits.
At the same time, Viktor Yushchenko said he insists on a faster process of recapitalization of the Ukrainian banks.
