Business activity looking up in Ukraine, President Yushchenko says

President Viktor Yushchenko said that Ukraine has a positive dynamics for revival of business activity, he told in an interview with The Economist. However, according to Yushchenko, the government has now to do all the best to restore Ukraine's cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The President noted that cooperation with the IMF, the World Bank, European banks 'is alpha and omega of what we call a Ukrainian stabilization plan'.

V. Yushchenko recalled that the IMF's complaints against Ukraine for restoration of cooperation referred, in particular, to improving the 2009 budget. .Now I can speak about the budget, which can more or less satisfy a real social sector,. he stressed.
