The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that as of 5 p.m. Monday the government had not considered allocation to the Central Election Commission of any funds from the reserve fund for financing early parliamentary elections, as required by the Monday ruling of the National Security and Defense Council.

According to a press service spokesman, on Monday the Cabinet of Ministers did not plan to hold any extraordinary meetings, while scheduled meetings are as a rule held on Wednesday.

As reported, the conflict between the President and the Prime Minister over the early parliamentary elections scheduled by Viktor Yushchenko for December 7 aggravated during the special meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on Monday.

The President and the Security Council ordered the Government to allocate from the reserve fund about USD 83 billion for the early election campaign, while the Government and the Main Control and Revision Office called this a misappropriation of government funds threatening Yulia Tymoshenko with a trial and imprisonment for three to six years.

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Internal Affairs Minister Yuriy Lutsenko voted against financing of early polls from the government's reserve fund during the Security Council meeting on Monday.
