Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk has adjourned the first session of the parliament of the 6th convocation and opened the second one.
The session is to debate issues related to prospects of Ukraine's NATO membership. The relevant parliamentary committee, however, has failed to reach accord on the text of a respective resolution to be addressed in parliament.
As the president's press service reported, his address to parliament, which was supposed to be made Tuesday, has been rescheduled.
The Party of Regions has been blocking the parliaments' work since January 18, demanding the parliament debate the country's leadership letter to the NATO Secretary General stating Ukraine's bid to join the NATO Membership Action Plan.
