PRESIDENT INSISTS ON IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF ZASIADKO MINE |

President Viktor Yushchenko in a telegram to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych insisted on immediate and full closure of the Zasiadko mine, the presidential press service told UKRINFORM.
"In view of another accident at the Zasiadko mine in Donetsk, which caused human loss, I insist on immediate full closure of the mine before all circumstances and reasons of the tragedy, occurring on November 18 and December 1, 2, are clear," the telegram said.
Yushchenko insisted on sending materials of the check to the Prosecutor General.
The death toll as a result of a series of accidents at the mine reached 106 people.
