KYIV, July 30 /UKRINFORM/. The Defense Ministry of Ukraine has presented a sabre to the son of Sri Lankan President, Sub-lieutenant Joshihdha Kanishka Rajadapaksa, for his excellent study at the National Defense University.

According to the ministry press office, Joshihdha Kanishka Rajadapaksa was awarded during a graduating ceremony in Kyiv for students from the strategic level faculty of the National Defense University.

The ministry officials said that this year in addition to Ukrainian officers and generals, the university released representatives of armed forces of China, Sri Lanka and Azerbaijan.
