Foreign minister to visit Switzerland
KYIV, December 18 / UKRINFORM/. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko will pay a working visit to Switzerland on December 18, the MFA told Ukraine.
During the visit he is scheduled to meet with Micheline Calmy-Rey, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf, Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police , Vevey Mayor Loran Laurent Ballif, and William Burns, president of Swiss pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-la Roche.
The parties will discuss a broad range of vital questions of bilateral cooperation, including agenda of the 2010 political dialogue, preparations for signing bilateral agreements on visa facilitation and the agreement on police cooperation, as well as cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
During the visit Petro Poroshenko will take part in the ceremony of unveiling a monument to Nikolay Gogol in the city of Vevey.
