
CIS ministers to meet in Yalta
KYIV, June 2 /UKRINFORM/. A meeting of internal affairs ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States' member-countries is due to be held in Yalta (Crimea, South Ukraine).
It is planned to discuss at the meeting issues involved in implementation of international programs for fight with crime, the problems of counteracting new forms of criminal activity with the use of information technologies and cooperation in the field of combating illegal drugs turnover. On the agenda of the day there are also issues involved in interaction in the war on human trafficking, higher efficiency of functioning of the special database of the bureau for coordination of fight with organized crime and other criminal performance in the CIS territory.
All of the CIS interior ministers but those of Georgia and Turkmenistan confirmed their participation in the meeting.
