United Arab Emirates to open embassy in Ukraine in 2010

KYIV, November 16 /UKRINFORM/. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will open its embassy in Kyiv in the first half of 2010, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said at a press conference in Abu Dhabi on Monday, UKRINFORM reported.

Yushchenko said that agreement on opening the UAE embassy in Kyiv had been reached at talks with UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He expressed confidence that the opening of the UAE embassy in Ukraine would favor the deepening of a political and diplomatic dialogue and ensure the implementation of a wide range of bilateral documents.
