Ukrspecexport finalizes supply of IL-78 refueling planes to Pakistan

KYIV, November 7 /UKRINFORM/. Ukraine's state-controlled arms exporter, Ukrspecexport, has completed the supply of IL-78 refueling aircraft from Ukraine to Pakistan, a source with Ukraine's military and industrial sector told UKRINFORM.

The contract, signed by Ukrspecexport at the end of 2006, provided for the supply of four air tankers IL-78.

According to the source, the fourth flight-test of the plane ended in September 2011 at the NARP Mykolaiv Aircraft Repair Plant.

The first aircraft was delivered to the customer in 2009, the second - in 2010. This year, Pakistan has received two aircraft.
