Ukrainian army adopts two aircrafts
KYIV, March 16 /UKRINFORM/. Ukraine's Defense Minister Mykhailo Yezhel issued a decree dated March 4 ordering to adopt Su-25UBM1 and Su-24M1 aircrafts, the ministry press-service reported.
The double combat trainer aircraft Su-25UBM1 is designed to provide tactical flight training of pilots in combat units. The aircraft is upgraded under the first version of the serial Su-25UB with a new set and completed equipment. This equipment is designed to achieve an improved accuracy of applying bomber, missile and gun weapons of the airplane, expand the range of air attack weapons, which are used on the aircraft, introduce a navigational bombing of targets with known coordinates and etc.
Su-25UMB1 is equipped with two engines R-95SH. Maximum height of flight is 7,000 meters, operational range - 890 kilometers, level flight velocity at an altitude of 200 meters is of 980 km/h.
The combat aircraft Su-25M1 - is a modernized version of the first serial aircraft Su-25 with the new set and completed equipment and has similar performance, operational and other characteristics.
