Mejlis to boycott Crimean referendum

KYIV, March 6 /Ukrinform/. Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People has decided to boycott the referendum on state status of Crimea, the e-Crimea news agency reported on Thursday.

According to Chubarov, "in circumstances where the troops are on the streets, amid absolute full legal bacchanalia, the referendum, especially in the absence of legislation - these are actions to further destabilize the situation in Crimea."
