Bohoslovska: More MPs will quit Party of Regions faction

  • Ukrainian MP Inna Bohoslovska

KYIV, December 2 /Ukrinform/. Ukrainian MP Inna Bohoslovska has predicted that more MPs will soon leave the Party of Regions faction.

She told this to journalists before a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council on Monday, Ukrinform reported.

"I cannot say exactly who will soon quit the Party of Regions, but in fact there are many of those who don't agree," Bohoslovska said.

She noted that an abrupt change of Ukraine's foreign policy course had been unexpected to almost all Party of Regions faction members. "It was a surprise for Party of Regions MPs, and I regard this as a betrayal," she said, adding that her opinion is shared by other MPs from the Party of Regions faction.

Inna Bohoslovska, David Zhvania and Volodymyr Melnychenko earlier announced their withdrawal from the party and the faction, whereas Mykola Rudkovsky quit only the faction.
